Arthroscopy Center

Arthroscopy

  • A type of keyhole surgery used both to diagnose and treat problems with joints
  • After drilling a tiny hole (less than 1cm in diameter) on the joint disease-expected area, a micro camera-mounted arthroscope is inserted through the hole. The joint conditions are observed through a monitor, and surgical treatment can be performed if necessary.

Indications

Indications
Knee disease Knee cartilage-meniscus injury, meniscus tears, ACL/PCL tear, degenerative knee arthritis
Shoulder disease Rupture of rotator cuff, frozen shoulder, habitual dislocation, shoulder impingement
Food disease Loose body and cartilage damage

Advantages

  • Accurate diagnosis and precise surgery possible through a micro camera
  • Minimum incision of the joint  short recovery period and quick return to daily routine
  • Low pain and little scar
  • Very small risk of complications
